The Wisconsin Badgers men's basketball team picked a great game to have their best shooting performance of the year. A nationally telecast rivalry game against the 13th ranked Ohio State Buckeyes turned some heads. UW blasted Ohio State from the opening tip and won in a 71-49 rout.
Wisconsin ran its record to (18-8) overall and (9-4) in the Big Ten. Sunday's win should keep them in the top 25 despite losing to unranked Minnesota last Thursday in overtime.
The Badgers took control with an 18-0 run in the first half that lasted more than 7 minutes and put them up 24-6. Ben Brust and Jared Berggren each scored 15 points to lead the Badgers. Sam Dekker made a major contribution off the bench with 13 points.
