The National Weather Service has announced that snowstorm Magnus brought up to ten inches of snow to Door and Kewaunee Counties today. The news has snowmobilers revving up their engines and they can do so right here in Door County.
The Southeast section of the Door County snowmobile trail system is open. The condition is listed as poor as trail groomers are attempting to get to the entire trail before they take too much abuse from riders.
The Southeast section of the Door County snowmobile trail system is from Culvers south over the Bay View Bridge, Ahnapee Trail to the county line at County Road X.
