49ers' Kaepernick Has Family Roots In Northeast Wisconsin


Colin Kaepernick has lifted the San Francisco to Super Bowl XLVII with his amazing ability to knife through opposing defenses with his pinpoint passing coupled with his speed and agility running the football. The dual threat quarterback ended the Packers' season in the NFC Divisional Playoffs.

Colin and his 49ers are putting in their last minute preparations for the Baltimore Ravens in New Orleans this week. A large contingent of Packers turned 49ers fans is watching closely this week as their family member has been thrust into the national spotlight at the game's biggest event.

The Kaepernick family of New London, Wisconsin has traded in their Packers gear for the red and gold. A bunch of number "7" jerseys are donned each week by Colin's cousins, aunt and uncle including 25 year old Brett Kaepernick.

Brett joined the "Country Music Morning Show With Nick Freimuth" yesterday to talk about Colin's unbelievable journey so far this season. To listen to the interview in its entirety click on the audio link below:
