
Southern Door kept their momentum on the high school girls basketball court last night with a non-conference win 49-41 over Mishicot. Cora Baudhuin has made a strong recovery after a knee injury and led the Eagles Thursday with 12 points. A 19 point second quarter for Southern Door was certainly the difference. Cheyanne McFarlin and Rachel Andres added eight points apiece in the win.
Algoma lit up Manitowoc Lutheran 61-36 at home last night. A major contribution from freshman Baleigh Delorit helped the Wolves ease their way to victory. She had 15 points on the night including four three-pointers. The win pushes the Wolves to (13-1) on the season. Anna Dier also played well as a freshman and scored 13 in the win.
West De Pere held off Luxemburg-Casco 55-45 in the Bay Conference. Sarah Kinnard had 14 points to pace the Spartans. Lexy Kinnard added 11 in the loss.
