Brewers first baseman Corey Hart is seeking a second opinion on an injury he sustained during offseason workouts. The injury occurred last week, and surgery is still pending.
Hart was originally scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right knee for a meniscal tear. Recovery time is expected to be three to four months. Hart is hopeful for a resolution within the next day or two. In 2012 the left fielder turned first baseman hit .270 with 30 homers and 83 RBIs in 149 games.
