Wisconsin Badgers coach of seven years, Bret Bielema, will likely be announced as the head coach of the University of Arkansas football team tomorrow. The announcement apparently shocked athletic director Barry Alvarez. Numerous sources broke the story Tuesday afternoon.
The news comes a little less than a month before Wisconsin plays Stanford in the Rose Bowl. Many wonder if Bielema will stay on to coach the bowl game or if a new coach will be in place before the big game in Pasadena, California.
Bielema is (68-24) with the Badgers, with four double-digit win seasons, and he coached Wisconsin to a 17-14 win over Arkansas in his first season at the Capital One Bowl.
