The Witt Ford Red Zone With Graham Harrell was packed last night to welcome two current Green Bay Packers, NFL and Sturgeon Bay alum Casey Rabach, and the Sturgeon Bay Girls Swimming Team. Last night's broadcast on 104.1 FM WRLU (and podcast on DoorCountyDailyNews.com) also featured the drawing for a Lund fishing boat through the NFL Alumni Association.
The first 45 minutes was devoted to Swim Coach Dave Bubnik and the Sturgeon Bay varsity swimmers. Each of the 15 girls in attendance had a chance to talk on the radio during the salute to swimming. Savanna Townsend, the state champion in the 50-yard freestyle and second place finisher in the 100 butterfly, led off the show. She talked about what it was like to swim at the Natatorium at UW Madison.
Packers defensive back Davon House was Graham Harrell's special guest last night coming off the bye week. Each player returned to their home/college towns during the bye week. Graham spent a great deal of time with family in Texas while Davon said a trip to his alma mater New Mexico State featured time with his wife's family.
Each of the Packers' wives were in attendance at the Witt Ford Red Zone as well. Brittany Harrell and Trish House were warmly greeted by Packers fans excited to have the guys in Sturgeon Bay.
The grand finale of the show was a Lund Fishing Boat give away. Mark Kasper was announced the winner.
