
Brewers outfielder Norichika Aoki is up for for Rookie of the Year when the Greatness in Baseball Yearly Awards (GIBBYs) are handed out during next month's Winter Meetings, and fans will help to pick the winners. Aoki is up against the A's Yoenis Cespedes, Ryan Cook and Jarrod Parker, the Rangers' Yu Darvish, the Nationals' Bryce Harper, the Red Sox's Will Middlebrooks, the D-backs Wade Miley, the Cubs' Anthony Rizzo, the Rockies' Wilin Rosario and the Angels' Mike Trout.
Ryan Braun is also up for Hitter of the Year. Braun is in the running with the Tigers' Miguel Cabrera, the Yankees' Robinson Cano, the Rangers' Josh Hamilton, the Pirates' Andrew McCutchen, the Giants' Buster Posey and the Angels' Mike Trout for the top hitter honor.
And the Brewers also have an entry for Play of the Year -- shortstop Alex Gonzalez's heads-up throw home to finish a win over the Cardinals on April 29.

Winners will be presented their GIBBY trophies at the MLB.com Greatness in Baseball Yearly Awards extravaganza during the Winter Meetings in Nashville, Tenn., on Tuesday, Dec. 4.
