
The Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association has voted the Sturgeon Bay boys team the top team in the state again this week in Division 3. The Clippers have held the top spot for a few weeks now and one of their final victories during the regular season made their ranking even sweeter.
When Sturgeon Bay beat N.E.W. Lutheran 2-1 for the second time this season, they beat the second ranked team in the state. The Blazers moved up to number two after beating back-to-back state champs Prairie School. Here is a look at this week's rankings:
Division 3: 1. Sturgeon Bay; 2. Green Bay NEW Lutheran; 3. St. Anthony; 4. Racine Prairie; 5. Oostburg.
Honorable mention: Central Wisconsin Christian, St. Thomas More, Stevens Point Pacelli, La Crosse Aquinas, Howards Grove.
