Packers To Be Without Cedric Benson For Up To 8 Weeks

Green Bay Packers running back Cedric Benson may miss up to eight weeks after suffering a foot injury in the second quarter Sunday in Indianapolis. Coach Mike McCarthy said yesterday that he knows Cedric will be out for Sunday night’s game at Houston.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Monday night that Benson has a Lisfranc injury and is expected to miss at least eight weeks. That message has not been issued by the team yet, so the waiting game begins.
