Algoma Soccer Scores Another Win

Algoma boys soccer netted another win Monday in a warm up game heading into the postseason. WIAA Division 3 regionals start tonight for all area teams except Southern Door. The Eagles forfeited their play-in game last week as only five players showed up for the bus.

Last night, Rodrigo Arvizu scored Algoma's lone goal in a 1-0 shutout of Washington Island. Jake Blazkovec made eight saves in the nonconference boys soccer match.
