Sturgeon Bay Topples Menominee

Sturgeon Bay got the win in the Class AA state tournament yesterday, 9-3 over Menominee. Sturgeon Bay took control with a four-run fifth inning, highlighted by a three-run home run by Casey Giesseman.

Riley Cordier pitched a complete game for Sturgeon bay, striking out eleven in the process. Sturgeon Bay will play Rhinelander today at 3 pm.
