Packers Readying For Tonight's Sold Out Family Night

A fun-filled day and evening awaits Packers fans today for Packers Family Night.

‘Family Night’ will feature an intra-squad scrimmage between the Packers’ offense and defense. Evening activities get underway in the stadium at 5:30 p.m., followed by on-field football drills at 6:30 and the scrimmage at approximately 7:30. The event will benefit the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids foster care adoption program, a signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

The Packers FanCam, a 360-degree, high-definition photo of fans in the stadium, will return this year for Packers Family Night. This exciting fan feature allows fans to identify themselves using an optic-zoom and tagging feature.Fans will need to be in their seats by 7:10 p.m., because at that time the ultra-high-definition, 10-billion pixel image will be taken from the 50-yard line.

The Golden Knights Parachute Team will also make an appearance at Family Night, as they will parachute into the stadium bowl shortly after the FanCam photo is taken, around 7:20 p.m.

Recently announced, Donald Driver’s Mirror Ball trophy from his victory on Dancing with the Stars will be on display in the Lambeau Field Atrium from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Fans will be able to view the trophy and have their picture taken with it during those hours.

The Packers Experience also returns this year next to the Tundra Tailgate Zone with a wide array of inflatable games. The evening will feature other activities for the younger fans, including sidewalk chalk and airbrush tattoos. In addition to the regular parking lot activities, a large, Packers-themed sand sculpture will be created throughout the day in the Harlan Plaza in front of the Atrium. The Packers Experience will open at 11 a.m. on Friday and close at 7:30 p.m.

The Fan Walkway area, which will be open from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and is located along the sidewalk from Oneida Street to the Oneida Nation Gate on the east side of the Lambeau Field parking lot, will feature Packers displays for fans to enjoy. Wildlife sanctuary animals will also be in the Fan Walkway area during those times.

For more information and a full schedule for Family Night, visit www.packers.com/familynight.

Other activities include the popular “Jerseys Off Our Backs” promotion with approximately 20 jerseys – all of which will have been worn by Packers players in the just-completed scrimmage – to be given away in a random drawing; the Family Night Picnic, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Lambeau Field’s east-side parking lot; and the spectacular Fireworks Show to conclude the night.

The Packers will also welcome the Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes to Family Night as their official community guest. Over 40 representatives of the organization will make up the Packers Ambassador Line in celebration of their 100th anniversary.

Tickets for the event sold out on Monday. Fans are reminded that all individuals, regardless of age, require a ticket for admittance. In case of inclement weather, no refunds will be issued unless all stadium activities – from 5:30 p.m. until the end of the fireworks show – are cancelled.

Parking for the event will be $5, with net proceeds to be donated to the Wonderful Kids Program.  Due to the potentially large number of people attending, parking will be limited. Fans are asked to arrive early. Parking is also available in neighboring areas.
