Brewers Sweep Astros

The Brewers finished off a three game sweep of the NL Central's worst team with a 13-4 rout of the Astros yesterday. A six run fifth featured a fourteen pitch at bat for Ryan Braun that ended with a solo home run. The offensive explosion allowed Mike Fiers to earn the win. Braun, Cesar Izturis, Jonathan Lucroy and Rickie Weeks all homered in the game.

The win marked the Brewers' second sweep all season. Milwaukee has the day off today before opening a three game series in St. Louis with the Cardinals Friday at 7:15 PM.
