Door County League Heating Up

After eleven weeks of Door County League Baseball, It appears Egg Harbor (10-1) will coast to a regular season championship and three teams will be left to battle for second place. All four of the top teams won over the weekend to add even more distance between the top and bottom of the league.

Sister Bay saw Adam Biwer rack up three RBI's in a 9-3 win over Maplewood yesterday. The Bays kept the Mets bats quiet except two hits logged by Travis Price.

Washington Island doubled up Baileys Harbor 4-2. Troy Jorgenson had another great day by driving in four runs and picked up the save for the Islanders. Brett Anschutz pitched well in the loss. He struck out eight in the loss for the A's.
