The Estes family will be giving away six bikes at Prestige Yacht Coatings Thunderhill Raceway Saturday night. For the third year in a row Thunderhill will play host to a fun race involving drivers on those six bicycles. Six children will be able to choose their favorite driver and, during intermission, they will race around the 1/3 mile clay oval. Afterwards, the bikes will be given to those same kids.
Week 7 at Thunderhill will see James Lee Tebon looking to hold on to his 15-point lead in the IMCA Modifieds. Billy LeMieux is in second and Eric "Chummy" Arnerson rounds out the top 3.
IMCA Sport Modifieds is getting tighter this week. The top three spots are only separated by a total of 6 points. Randy LeMieux Jr. holds first place while Jarred VanLaanen is 2 behind and Bernie Reinhardt (with an impressive leap in the standings) sits in third.
IMCA Hobby Stock leader Tom Brumlic has a little breathing room going in to Saturday's race. Taking maximum points last weekend, he sits with a 15-point lead over CJ Weckler.
