Prestige Yacht Coatings Thunderhill Raceway is halfway through the race season and don't intend on slowing down. Every victory this weekend will be critical to maintain positions for most of the drivers putting wheels to track.
In IMCA Modifieds, Algoma racer James Tebon is not only leading the standings at Thunderhill with 4 features, he also is second in points at Luxemburg Speedway. The current record at Thunderhill for Modifieds is 7 victories in a season; and with 7 more chances Tebon could very well overtake current record-holder Eugene Gregorich.
IMCA Stock Car races are close as well. Green Bay's Jeremy Wittala leads the standings for his second week in a row. Troy Muench is only three points behind Wittala and Algoma's Dave Bouche rounds out third with only a five-point defecit.
IMCA Modifieds, Stock Cars, Sport Mods, Hobby and Street Stocks as well as 4-Cylinders all hit the track starting at 6 p.m. Pit gates open at 3:30 and the main gates are scheduled to open at 4:30.
