Zack Greinke still has not lost in his first 22 starts at Miller Park. Despite a poor outing from the staff ace Monday night, the Brewers came from behind to steal game one of a three game series with the Marlins 6-5.
Pinch-hitter Norichika Aoki executed a safety squeeze to perfection in the eighth inning for the game winning run. Travis Ishikawa also had a big night as a pinch-hitter. His two-run single in the sixth inning sparked Milwaukee's comeback.
Greinke remained 15-0 in home games after a no decision Monday night. The mark is one win shy of tying the Yankees' Johnny Allen and the White Sox's LaMar Hoyt for the most wins at home without a loss with a team.
Brewers reliever Kameron Loe, Francisco Rodriguez and John Axford did not allow a run in the final three innings and preserved the Brewers win. It was Axford's 14th save of the season.
