Sturgeon Bay Legion Drops Weekend Doubleheader

The Fond du Lac Senior Babe Ruth team doubled up the Sturgeon Bay American Legion team this weekend. Game one went eight innings and the Bays fell 8-7. Keith Lehman had two hits to lead the way at the plate in a losing effort. Sturgeon Bay scored five runs on wild pitches in the opener.

Game two was a five inning mercy rule shortened affair with Fond du Lac winning 11-1. Riley Cordier and Jason Lindemann had the only two hits in the game for the Bays. Sturgeon Bay is now (8-6) and will be off until July 9^th.
