Four UW-Green Bay student-athletes have been selected as members of the Academic All-Horizon League teams for the spring semester of 2012. One of the four is a Sevastopol graduate with a tremendous work ethic, attitude and willingness to lead as a junior in college. Student-athlete nominees were voted upon by the league's faculty athletics representatives and athletics communications directors.
Cam Fuller is a business administration major and had a strong season on the course for the Phoenix. His year was capped by maybe his strongest performance with a second place finish at the 2012 Horizon League Championships. That effort landed him on the all-tournament team. Fuller also shot a season-low 72 at the Detroit Mercy Invitational in April.
Fuller also got the job done in the classroom with a 3.54 GPA. In all, 92 Horizon League student-athletes were recognized across eight spring sports. Green Bay participates in five of the eight sports, as the school does not sponsor baseball or men's and women's track and field. To view a list of all honorees, click here.
