Milwaukee absolutely needed to win yesterday as the Brewers wrapped up a three game series in Cincinnati. Zack Greinke was the right man for the job in a must-win situation and picked up an 8-4 victory. The right handed hurler worked six quality innings before the Brewers opted for relievers Kameron Loe, Francisco Rodriguez and Livan Hernandez to close things out.
Rickie Weeks and Cody Ransom each hit two-run home runs to power the 'Brew Crew'. Milwaukee is now 7.5 games back of the Reds in the NL Central standings.
