Brewers Sinking Before All-Star Break

In a make or break series with the Reds, the Brewers lost game one 3-1 in another lackluster offensive performance. Mat Latos struck out a career-high 13 Milwaukee batters in a complete game pitching effort.

Norichika Aoki broke an 18 inning scoreless streak for the Brewers in the sixth inning with a solo home run.

Yovani Gallardo also pitched well, but Brewers bats were asleep for the second straight game.
