The Sturgeon Bay Jaycees were clicking last night when they shut out Baileys Harbor 14-0 in Door County Babe Ruth Baseball. Brandon Krause pitched five innings and allowed only one hit. His winning effort on the mound combined with two hits of his own highlighted the stat line. Cam Zak toed the rubber for Baileys Harbor and threw three innings with six strikeouts.
Baylake Bank needed only five innings to top Baileys Harbor Thursday. They were 10-0 winners with Matt Van Bramer striking out four through five innings. Adam Hauser and Riley Cordier had multi hit games for the bank.
