Jason Lindemann hit his first career grand slam Wednesday night to propel Sturgeon Bay American Legion Baseball to a 9-5 win over Waupaca. Lindemann finished with five RBI's on the night in an amazing effort at the plate.
Casey Giessman got in on the act with a three run home run of his own. His four RBI's meant that two players provided all the offense the Bays would need Wednesday at Memorial Field.
Ryan Nelson and Keith Lehman combined to deliver Sturgeon Bay the win on the mound. The two had four strikeouts apiece. The win pushes the Bays record to (5-3).
Sturgeon Bay Junior Legion opened the night with a 20-0 win over Waupaca. Chase Mickey pitched a one hit shutout.
