Axford Blows Another Save For Brewers

Brewers closer John Axford blew his third save in five chances in a 10-9 Brewers loss at Miller Park last night. He allowed back-to-back home runs in the ninth inning to the Blue Jays.

Both teams had a field day with 19 runs scored including Aramis Ramirez's 10th career grand slam. The four run bomb gave the Brewers a 9-8 advantage entering the ninth.

The Blue Jays finished with a season high six home runs to spoil Milwaukee newcomer Tyler Thornburg's first Major League start.
