
A run/walk to help support the general fund for Crossroads at Big Creek’s Environmental Learning Center will be held Saturday, June 23. A 2K, 5K, 10K will help promote cross-generational recreation, and increase awareness of ‘green’ living in our community.
Check in and registration will begin Friday June 22, 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Crossroads and again Saturday June 23, 7:30-8:30 am at Crossroads.
There will be a 2K Fun Run, a 5K and 10K. There will be divisions for men and women as follows: 7 & under, 8-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & up.
T-shirts will be awarded to all registered runners/walkers. All participants will receive a potted tree. The event will also bestow division awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers (for 5K & 10K only). All 2K participants will receive a native sapling tree. All awards will be hand crafted or made by artists and businesses located within 30 miles of Door County.
