Following the University of Wisconsin-Madisons trip to the final four this year, the Wisconsin athletic board has approved an extension to basketball coach Bo Ryan’s contract. The one-year extension stretches his contract to five-years with the Badgers, until the 2019 season. The board also approved a 60-thousand dollar bonus for reaching the Final Four last season, the first for the Badgers since 2000. Ryan will earn about two-point-three million dollars a year, with a 100-thousand dollar raise each June in the contract.
