Algoma Well Represented In Upcoming WBCA All-Star Game

Algoma seniors Meg Ryan and Kennedy Blahnik will represent Algoma in the 2014 Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Game Friday, June 20. The honor includes an invitation to Coaches Mark Zastrow and Lonnie Fenendael to coach the North Team.

It marks the first time that an Algoma coach has led a team but it is not the first time the Wolves sent a player to the game. Last year, Taylor Schmidt played in the post-high school game. Lindsey Kirchman, Karissa LeCaptain, Sam Zastrow and Kiah Simon all played in the all-star game previously.

The game will be played at the Just-A-Game Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells. The Algoma players and coaches were selected by high school coaches from across the state.
If you are interested in attending the game complimentary tickets will be available to anyone wishing to make the trip.
