High School Boys Hoops Scoreboard

The regional basketball tournament begins Tuesday but teams still had a chance to fine tune their game plans with one final Packerland Conference game last night. N.E.W. Lutheran had locked up the conference crown weeks ago but was still tested last night by Southern Door.

According to Assistant Coach Jared Spude, the Eagles seem to play some of their best basketball against N.E.W. Trailing by only four points heading into the final quarter, N.E.W. turned up the intensity in the final frame and won 66-56.

WBDK 96.7 FM will broadcast the Kewaunee boys regional Tuesday from Chilton. The Storm ended their regular season with a 55-43 win over Gibraltar.

Algoma pummeled Sevastopol 62-28 behind 26 points for Sam Koss and Eliot Prokash.
Sturgeon Bay played a stellar game against Oconto and captured a 45-29 victory. UW Milwaukee baseball recruit Riley Cordier paced the Clippers with 14 points.
