Wisconsin lost again and UWGB fell for the first time in conference play last night in men’s college basketball. The Badgers quite possibly played their worst half of basketball of the season to close out the game against the Wildcats Wednesday.
Ben Brust was the lone player feeling it for the Badgers last night. He finished with 21 points but it was nowhere near enough in a 65-56 defeat at the Kohl Center in Madison.
The UWGB men played at Valparaiso and struggled without 7-foot-1 star center Alec Brown. The Phoenix fell 75-60 and saw their 12-game winning streak vanish. The loss drops UWGB to (17-4) overall and (7-1) in the Horizon League.
