With a 7,600 seat, increased seating capacity, the Green Bay Packers attendance averaged nearly 78,000 fans per game. Incidents of unacceptable behavior also grew to its second highest level ever.
Police ejected 335 people from Lambeau Field during the season that recently ended, including 249 during the regular season, 59 during the Green Bay Packers lone playoff contest and 27 from preseason games. Three times during the year, the 50-ejection mark was exceeded during a game that started late in the day: against Chicago, Pittsburgh and San Francisco.
Police made a total of 78 arrests during the regular season and playoffs, including a season-high 16 during the Pittsburgh game. "Unlawful conduct at a public event" remained the most-common charge.
