If there was a team in the Big 10 that Wisconsin had dominated over the past decade, it was Indiana. The Badgers men’s basketball team had beaten the Hoosiers 12 consecutive times and was a perfect (16-0) on the season.
The number three ranked team in the nation fell at Indiana 75-72 in a major upset. The unranked Indiana squad was led by point guard Yogi Ferrell’s 25 points. After a pair of three-point attempts by Wisconsin in the final 15 seconds missed, Indiana students stormed the court.
Traevon Jackson led UW with a career high 21 points, Ben Brust added 13, Josh Gasser and Frank Kaminsky each added 11 points.
