Steven C. Lewin

Steven C. Lewin, 66, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on March 19, 2013 in Mesa, AZ ending a six year battle with Stage 4 Cancer. Steven was born April 8, 1946 to Marvin and Margaret (Walsh) Lewin in Milwaukee, WI. Steve married the love of his life, Joyce A. Conrad, and together they raised three children. He was a proud Navy Veteran. He retired from Johnson Controls. In earlier years, Steve raced stock cars and loved being a part of Hustlers car club. Steve and Joyce enjoyed dividing their time between Sturgeon Bay, WI and Mesa, Arizona.

Steven is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; his children, Stephanie (Scott) Lewin-Lane, Heather Lewin, and Nicholas Lewin; his grandchildren, Kelsy Lewin, Olivia Tiarks, and Makale; his mother, Margaret Lewin; his brothers, Michael Lewin, Jeff (Deb) Lewin, Douglas (Laurie) Lewin; his sister, Nancy Lewin; his sister-in-law, Sara Lewin; his father-in-law, Otto (Dorothy) Conrad; Joyce’s siblings, Carl (Mary) Conrad, Geraldine (Gene) Ross, Adrienne (Tom) Ponik, and Doreen (Stephen) Conrad-Verczik; and his “brother from another mother,” George (Toni) White. There are many other family members and close friends who will miss him dearly. Steven was preceded in death by his father, Marvin, and his mother-in-law, Dolores (Dave) Revolinski.

Visitation time for Steven’s family and friends to gather will be held at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home, 620 15th Avenue (Hwy 11), Union Grove, WI on Thursday, March 28, 2013 from 6-8 pm and again on Friday, March 29, 2013 from 12 noon-1:00 pm. A memorial service will begin at 1 pm. Burial with full military honors at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery will immediately follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for medical expenses would be greatly appreciated.
