Mary Therese Walter, 66, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay on March 11, 2013. She was born May 11, 1946, in Milwaukee to Gervase and Ruth (Streed) Schaut. On September 3, 1998, she married David W. Walter in North Lake, WI.
Mary was a legal secretary for many years at Godfrey and Kahn Law Firm in Milwaukee. She was also a transcriptionist for Ministry Door County Medical Center. Mary enjoyed gardening, working in the yard, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, David; two sons, Jeff Roska, Aurora, CO; Andy (Maggie) Roska, Milwaukee; a daughter, Casey (Jason) Britten, Appleton; three grandchildren, Max, Kate and Aidyn; three sisters, Beverly (Norb) Landreman, Union Grove; Nancy (Robert) Skalla, Appleton; Susie (Ron) Tomes, Sturgeon Bay; a brother, Russel (Liz) Schaut, Cottonwood, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Judy O’Neill.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Forbes Funeral Home (http://www.forbesfuneralhome.com/) in Sturgeon Bay. Friends may call on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
