Julie Margaret Kroll, 59, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at her home on November 26, 2012. She was born on June 11, 1953, in Algoma, to Walter and Viola (Brunette) Braem. On October 7, 1978, she married Charles “Chuck” Kroll at Corpus Christi Church in Sturgeon Bay.
For a number of years Julie operated a day care service in her home. She worked for Door County Stencil Company for many years and most recently was employed by Little Sweden in Fish Creek and the Ephraim Shores Motel. Julie traveled extensively during her life. She made trips to France, the Iditarod in Alaska, and Cancun. She also enjoyed whitewater rafting in Colorado and visiting the Grand Canyon. Julie will be remembered for her bubbly, warm, and friendly personality. She had an optimistic outlook on life that was always encouraging to others.
Survivors include her husband, Chuck; two sons, Cory Kroll, Milwaukee; and Casey Kroll, Waukesha; mother, Viola Braem, Green Bay; and one sister, Mary Ann (Wayne) Younkle, Ashwaubenon. Julie was preceded in death by her father, Walter.
