Russell J. Seekins

Russell J. Seekins, 75, formerly of Sturgeon Bay, died on Oct. 5, 2012, in Green Bay.  He was born on April 4, 1937, in Appleton to James and Alice (Feavel) Seekins.  Russell served his country in the U. S. Coast Guard and was a Boilermaker at Bay Ship Building for many years.

Russell is survived by three children, Steve Seekins, Sturgeon Bay; Tami (Tom) Wilson, Michigan; and Sherry Seekins, Green Bay; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bob (Kathy) Seekins, Carlton Seekins, Joe (Connie) Seekins; and one sister, Jackie Pozolinski.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2012, at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay.  Inurnment will be at Bayside Cemetery.  A memorial fund has been established in his name.  On-line condolences may be offered at www.forbesfuneralhome.com
