Russell, the son of Oscar and K. While living in Cape Coral, Florida, Russ was on the Executive Board of Gulf Coast Opera Company, Lee County, Florida. He acted, directed, produced shows, and was rehearsal accompanist and in the pit and keyboard for shows with the company for over a period of 12 years. He was also involved in set design, set painting, and construction for most of the shows given by GCOC.

Since retirement, he and Michelle split their time between Florida and the cabin in the woods in Door County that he loved so much. Russ is survived by his wife, Michelle, son, Ted, daughter-in-law, Luiza, grandsons, Alexander and Eric. Sisters, M. Jeanne (Guy) Desotelle, Janet (Arden) Purvis, Joanne (Joe) Black and brother, Robert (Ethel) Reinhard and numerous nieces and nephews and Abby (his beloved puppy).
