Loney Frank Teich, 73, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at Ministry-Door County Medical Center on Friday, August 10, 2012. He was born September 23, 1938, in Sturgeon Bay to John and Minnie (Meyer) Teich. On November 29, 1958, he married Joanne Kohlbeck at Corpus Christi Church.
Loney worked for the Milwaukee Shoe Company for 17 years. He retired after working for the Sturgeon Bay City Street Department for 27 years. He was a member of the Catholic Knights and had been active in local dart ball leagues. Loney enjoyed spending time and playing cards with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife; five children, Lucy(Tom) Baudhuin, Oshkosh; Judy (Matt) Engebretson, Sturgeon Bay; Mike (Peggy Kelsey) Teich, Whitefish Bay; Jody Teich, Sturgeon Bay and Barb Teich (friend, Gary Guidinger), Sturgeon Bay; seven grandchildren, Marcus, Kayla, Melissa, Meghan, Ben, John and Lucus; nine siblings, Clifford Teich, Beverly Clark, Lorraine (Don) Schrandt, Mary (Frank) Larkin, Nancy Peil, Carol (Maynard) Staats, Ben (Barbara) Teich, Thomas (Sally) Teich, and Debra (James) McGinnis; also many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Martin Onsager; infant brother, Jackie; sister-in-law, Betty Teich.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 13, 2012, at Corpus Christi Church, the Rev. Carl Schmitt and Rev. Anthony Birdsall officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
