Glen R. Lardo

Glen Robert Lardo, 53, of Brussels, passed away at his home on Friday, July 6, 2012. He was born July 20, 1958, in Green Bay to Robert and Joan (Peot) Lardo. He received his BA degree in Physical Education from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater in 1981. On October 25, 1997, he married Sara Fager in Maplewood.

Glen and his wife currently owned and operated a dairy farm in the Town of Gardner. Glen was also working as a salesman for Icafe Industrial Systems. Glen enjoyed antique cars, tractor pulls, Packer games, deer hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed visiting with his neighbors and helping with the coaching of the Southern Door High School football team.

Survivors include his wife, Sara; his mother, Joan Lardo, New Franken; a brother, Daniel (Bonnie) Lardo, New Franken; three sisters, Lynn Reno, Green Bay; Lisa Lardo and Laurie Lardo, both of New Franken; nephews, Mike Lardo & special friend, Shannon and their two boys, Bredan and Marshal; Mark Lardo and Chad Lardo; nieces, Stephanie Lardo and special friend, Shane; and Crystal Reno; parents-in-laws, Herman and Judy Fager, Algoma; sister and brother- in- law, Mary (Scott) Haucke, Algoma; brother and sister-in-law, Jeremiah (Jill) Fager, Kewaunee;  nieces, Samantha and Jayde  Haucke; a nephew, Cody Haucke.

He was preceded in death by his father; a son, Grant Lardo; brother-in-law, Herman Fager Jr.; and a sister-in-law, Melissa Fager.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Salem Lutheran Church, the Rev. John Seelman officiating.  Friends may call at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay on Monday, July 9, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and then after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church until time of services.  A prayer service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home by Rev.
