Sun Cha Crass, 75 years, of Sturgeon Bay, died early Monday (June 18, 2012) at Ministry-Door County Medical Center of lung cancer and cancer treatments.
She was born May 15, 1937 in Yonpaik-Kun, Hwanghae-Do in the Republic of Korea, the daughter of the late Pak Song Taek and O Chang Yi. Sun Cha married Roger Crass on January 27, 1967 in Seoul, Korea. She enjoyed picking apples in the 70’s with her friends and also enjoyed working at the White Lace Inn from 1986 to 2010, and treasured the friends she made there. Sun Cha was especially proud of her family and their accomplishments.
Survivors include her husband, Roger; two children, Linda (Todd Straughan and his two children, Alexis and Taylor Straughan) of Marshfield, Stephen (Kami) Crass of Montana (and three children, Ashley, Colton, and Callie; brothers-in-law, Philip (Debbie) Crass, James (Chris) Crass, Dale (Susan) Crass and their families; sisters-in-law, Shirley Miller, Karen (Edward) Warren, and Suzanne (James) Shaw; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one grandson, Jacob Thomas Crass, age 3 in 1999; her father and mother-in-law, Merton (Sylvia Walker) Crass; and brothers-in-law, Charles J. Crass and Rodney Miller.
Huehns Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Funeral services will be held at a later date this summer.
