Roland J. Boucher, 87, of Forestville passed away at Kewaunee Care Center on Thursday May 15, 2014.
He was born on August 17, 1926 to the late George and Marie (Dequaine) Boucher in the Town of Red River. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married Lorraine DeJardin at St Louis Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on September 18, 1971. On March 24, 1973 he married Beatrice Kleiman. She too preceded him in death. Roland and his wife farmed in the Town of Red River. He was employed at Bay Ship until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting with family and friends.
Roland is survived by his children Jean (Bill) Seehafer and their children Joel (Melissa), Josh, Sarah, and Sean; Michael (Tina) Boucher and their children Allie and Katrina; two great-grandchildren Bronson and Kiana; step-children Ron (Judy) Kleiman, Marlene (Claude) Kastenholz, David (Julie) Kleiman,; step-daughter-in-law Eleanor Kleiman; many step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; one brother Hamlin (Veronica) Boucher, and one sister Shirley Naze. He was preceded in death by one sister-in-law Magdalene Boucher, one brother-in-law Willard Naze, and a step-son James Kleiman.
Visitation will be held at Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home, Casco, on Sunday May 18, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. Wake Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday May 19, 2014 from 9:30 a.m.to 10:30a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church in Dyckesville. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Carl Schmitt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with full military rites.
