Romona Pearl Neuville

Romona Pearl Neuville, 82, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at Park View Manor on April 16, 2014. She was born on April 21, 1931, in Wisconsin to Alphonse and Pearl (Leeman) Hegnet. On October 10, 1953, she married Ervin Neuville, he preceded her in death on June 12, 2000.

In addition to being a homemaker, Romona worked at the Racine Journal Times, and at the Algoma Hospital as an L.P.N. She loved reading, traveling, gardening and was affectionately known as the “Lady with the shovel.” She will dearly missed by her cat, Hetty.

Survivors include two children, Allan Neuville, Milwaukee; Nevin Neuville, Sturgeon Bay; one grandson, Ryan Neuville; one great-daughter, Jillian Neuville; one step-grandson, Jeremy (Kate) Massart, New Franken; two step-great-grandchildren, Mason and Anna Massart; one sister, Ruby Pichette; one brother, Roger (Theresa) Hegnet. She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Marilyn; one son, Barry; and a sister, Ruth Delsart.

A private service will be held at St. Joseph Mausoleum. The Forbes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
