Lloyd J. Vandertie

Lloyd J. Vandertie, 89, of Brussels, passed away at home on April 15, 2014. He was born on Feb. 5, 1925, in Brussels to George and Laura (Delfosse) Vandertie. On Jan. 10, 1959, he married Joyce DeKeyser in Rosiere.

Survivors include his wife, 4 children, Christine (Brian) Paplham, Kewaunee; Christopher (Sharon Landweher) Vandertie, Forestville; Cory Vandertie, Brussels; and Curt (Sarah) Vandertie, Brussels; 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Pat.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2014, at St. Francis and St. Mary Parish in Brussels. Friends may call on Sunday from 3-8:00 p.m. at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. A prayer service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
