Harry J. Rohr

Harry J. Rohr, 75, formerly of Sturgeon Bay, of Shawano, died Sat. March 15, 2014 at Appleton Medical Center.

He was born September 24, 1938 in Sturgeon Bay, the son of the late Joseph and Doris (Sorenson) Rohr. Harry went to Sturgeon Bay High School. He worked for 43 years at Bay Lake Bank as custodian.

Survivors include his sister, Joanne (Gary) De Fere of Shawano, and brother, Dr. Roger (Mary Lou) Rohr of Fenton, Michigan; and his dear nieces and nephews, Dr. Michelle (Stephen Acton) De Fere of Hubertus, WI, Bart (Debbie) De Fere of Shawano, Dr. Jeff (Karen) Rohr, Stephen (Melanie) Rohr of Clarkston, MI, Kristi Rohr of Fenton, MI, along with their families.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Joseph and Doris Rohr, maternal grandparents, Lucy and Jim Mack, and paternal grandparents, Jules and Elizabeth Rohr.

Harry loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews. When he was younger he loved going to movies. He had a huge heart, and showed kindness and love to all he met.

Friends may call at Huehns Funeral Home on Saturday (March 22, 2014) from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ken Boettcher officiating. Burial will follow at Bayside Cemetery.

Thank you so much to the staff at the Cottages Assisted living in Shawano for taking such good care of Harry and making his stay comfortable. Thank you also to Bay Lake Bank for all those years of making Harry feel like one of your family. He loved going to work.
