Mabel S. Waterstreet

Mabel S. Waterstreet age 100 of Green Bay, formerly of Kewaunee, died on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay. She was on August 7, 1913 in Kewaunee to the late Edward and Alvina (Maigatter) Streu.

Mabel graduated from Kewaunee High School and then U. W. Whitewater with a teaching degree. She taught school for over thirty-five years including twenty-five years in the Algoma School System.

She married Roy Waterstreet on June 24, 1937 and he preceded her in death March 3, 1985.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: William and Joan Waterstreet, Hanover, PA; one daughter and son-in-law: Mary and Roger Eastman, Green Bay; five grandchildren: Ellen (Michael) Stelzle; Susan (Mark) Glauner; Lisa (Pat) Kawula; John (Chris) Bowers; Tim (Lisa) Eastman; seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson: Brian Waterstreet and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Community Congregational Church, Kewaunee with Rev. Joe Baker officiating.
