Cleda Schneider

Cleda Schneider, 64, of Algoma, passed away at home on Dec. 14, 2013. She was born on Sept. 11, 1949, in Door County to James and Bernadine (Columb) Massart. On Jan. 3, 1983, she married Ronald Schneider at Holy Name of Mary Church in Maplewood. He preceded her in death on Feb. 10 of this year.

Cleda worked as a hair stylist for many years in both Algoma and Forestville. She enjoyed gardening, baking, watching Nascar, and her dog, Bailey. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, nieces, nephew, and great nephew, Parker.

Survivors include a brother, Randy (Toni) Massart, and a sister, LaDeana (Leo) DeClark, all of Forestville; 3 nieces and a nephew, Lacie (Tim) Forbes, Sturgeon Bay; Kristin DeClark,(Special Friend, Tim Feld), Algoma, Amanda (David) Desmond, Green Bay; Ryan Massart (Fiance, Holly Weidner), Forestville; great nephew, Parker Forbes and great niece, Nora Desmond; in-laws, Louise Paplham (John Pionke), Jim (Arlene) Schneider, Linda (Lee) Erickson, and Dennis (JoAnn) Schneider. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Friends may call on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, from 4-7:00 p.m. at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay. A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery.
