Paul D. Linden of Ellison Bay, Wisconsin died at Ministry Door County Medical Center on November 29, 2013. Paul was born in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin on July 3, 1953 to Eleanor and Darold Linden. He attended schools in Illinois and moved to Ellison Bay permanently in 1971 after spending all his summers with his Grandparents August and Marion Carlson and Chester and Helen Linden who both resided in Liberty Grove.
Paul worked as a carpenter all of his life and had been employed by Carlson Erickson builders for over 40 years. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and served as a deacon and trustee. He enjoyed softball, bowling, trap shooting, hunting and fishing. He loved the outdoors and spent many hours working in his woods making trails and spending time with nature.
Paul is survived by his mother, Eleanor Linden, his father Darold Linden and his sister Diane who was his best friend and confident, a special Aunt and Uncle Kathy and Don Ray, plus other aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
He was a friend of many and easy going manner will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
A Memorial Service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church on Tuesday December 3, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M.
The family wishes to Thank all who drove him to his doctors, the visits and all of you who prayed so faithfully for Paul.
Burial will be in the Ellison Bay Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Paul D. Linden memorial fund and the family will ensure the memorial gifts are given to appropriate locations in honor of Paul.
