Michael L. Wolfe, age 66, of Brookfield, Egg Harbor, Wisconsin and Florida, died unexpectedly, following a short illness, on Saturday, November 16, 2013 in Cary, North Carolina while visiting family.
He was born February 5, 1947 in Milwaukee, the son of the late Lyster and Kathleen (McKenna) Wolfe. Following his high school graduation, Michael attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. On August 14, 1970 he married Bonnie Elizabeth Christensen in Milwaukee, WI.
Michael along with his wife, Bonnie, started, owned and operated Wolfe Retail Services and Merchandise Management Company in Brookfield, still in operation today.
Michael loved his wife, daughters, son-in-law, and grandsons so very much. He loved spending time laughing and joking around with them and his many friends, and strangers who soon became friends. He had a great sense of humor and we will all remember the many "Mike Wolfe-isms."
Survivors include his wife Bonnie, of Florida and Egg Harbor; two daughters, Amy (Kevin) Bassler of Cary, NC, Christine Wolfe of Alexandria, VA; two grandchildren, Liam James, Daniel Michael Bassler; two brothers, Tom (Cynthia) Wolfe of Fish Creek, and Gary (Mary) Wolfe of Grafton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Stella Maris Parish-Egg Harbor Site with Fr. Anthony Birdsall as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Juddville.
Friends and family may call at the church in Egg Harbor from 10:00 a.m. on Friday until the time of Mass at 11:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Michael's memory to Feed and Clothe My People.
