Cheryl Kay Hoffman, 67, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Golden Living Center – Dorchester.
She was born on November 27, 1945, in Lincoln, Illinois, the daughter of Harold Frederick and Margaret Dorothy (Yurkovich) Hoffman.
Cheryl enjoyed teaching ballroom dance, listening to music, playing her ukulele, reading about history, watching and making it through the first level of Jeopardy and spending time with her cat, Caitlyn.
Cheryl is survived by her sister, Shirley (Philip) Carlson of Milford, Iowa; nephew, Norm (Lanette) Koors, Jr. of Sturgeon Bay; nieces, Anne (Troy) Plass of Seymour, Kristine Koors of Appleton; great-nieces and nephews, Joseph Koors of Sturgeon Bay, Brea (Jason) Velaboom of Onalaska, Anthony Koors of Appleton, Celine Evenson of Appleton; great-great-niece, Cierra Johnson of Sturgeon Bay; friends, Liz, Rick, Kitty, Ruth, Patti, Crista, Judith; and many other relatives.
Preceding her in death were her parents and sister, Juanita Slane.
The family would like to thank all the doctors, and nursing staff at Aurora Hospital, the staff at Ministry Door County Medical Center, and her social workers, hospice and staff at Golden Living Center for the kind and compassionate care shown to Cheryl.
