Daniel Maurice Villano Jr.

Daniel M. Villano Jr., 81, of Jacksonport, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at his home in Jacksonport.

He was born on October 1, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Clara Ponzi and Daniel Villano Sr. He was employed with Rockwell International in Chicago, Illinois formerly MGD (Miehle Goss Dexter).

On August 10, 1950 he married Marion Carmella Pancaro at Holy Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Chicago, Illinois. Daniel was a member of Stella Maris Catholic Parish in Jacksonport (St. Michael Catholic Church).

Daniel had a love of nature and enjoyed camping, fishing, and gardening. His greatest love was his family.

Left to mourn Daniel's passing are his wife, Marion; six children, Julienne Jablonski of Arizona, Daniel III (Laura) Villano of Berwyn, Illinois, Clara (Eric) Bartsch of Bolingbrook, Illinois, Marion (George) Glasenhardt of Chicago, Illinois, Leonard Villano of Jacksonport, and Steven Villano of San Francisco, California; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary (Bob) Fredona of Stickney, Illinois; one brother, Leonard (Carol) Villano of St. Petersburg, Florida; and many dear nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, John and Richard Villano; and son-in-law, Joseph Jablonski (2010).
